Dates are written day first, with il<\/em> before the number: il 24 giugno<\/em>. For the first of the month Italian uses il primo<\/em>: il primo maggio<\/em>. Italian says \u201cI have thirty years\u201d (ho trent\u2019anni<\/em>), not \u201cI am thirty\u201d, so the verb is avere<\/em> (\u201cto have\u201d), as in Ho trent\u2019anni<\/em>.<\/p>\n
